Friends of Hardeman County Animal Control 2010 March of Dogs - "Until there are none, rescue one."
Thank you for making the March of Dogs a Success!
Friends of Hardeman County Animal Control
March of Dogs and Pet Costume Contest
More than 200 people and their dogs marched in the 2010 March of Dogs, and 50 dogs entered in the Pet Costume Contest.  This record turn out shows that the people of Hardeman County and West Tennessee love their pets, and want to show them off!
When the first marcher reached downtown, the bandstand cranked up "Who Let the Dogs Out" as the dogs crossed the court square.
Many thanks to our judges, Opal Shaw (Hardeman County Commissioner), Dixie Spencer (wife of Hardeman County mayor Willie Spencer), Louis Wellons (professional dog show judge), and Willie Kemp (former Boliver Central High School and University of Memphis basketball star).
